Investigating Technology Integration into English Language Coursebooks: Systematic Evaluation

Among a variety of language learning materials, the crucial role that coursebooks have on and teaching processes takes great deal attention in scholarly literature. English been thought as one most pivotal instruments for effective systematic experiences. Therefore, it is paramount importance to address issue developing meet current requirements 21st century. This study aims explore extent technological affordances used upper secondary schools Türkiye. To achieve this aim, qualitative methodology based content analysis has taken methodological approach. In regard, an evaluation checklist technology integration developed study. Data were collected investigating two from 9th grade 10th Overall, findings substantiate despite some notable attempts integrate into coursebooks, further work required develop well-designed standard coursebooks. The provide several insights implications technology-integrated thus promoting technology-enhanced practices.
